Sweet for ArcGIS displays and edits data contained within a web map. A web map can be created using the Map Viewer in your organisation’s ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise portal, or by publishing from ArcGIS Pro.
A web map can contain a number of operational layers and tables. Sweet for ArcGIS is able to edit the data in operational layers whose source is an ArcGIS Feature Layer.
Known Limitations
- Data from Map Services, WMTS layers and similar datasets can be viewed in client applications, but these item types cannot be edited.
- Sweet for ArcGIS cannot edit tables directly. Data in related tables can be edited via the properties of the related feature layer. Standalone table layers cannot be edited.
- Layers with clustering or other aggregation settings enabled within the web map are not optimised for visualisation or editing.
- Smart form logic, configured in Map Viewer or ArcGIS Field Maps Designer to calculate fields or set conditional qualities, does not extend to Sweet for ArcGIS applications.
- Oriented imagery layers are not currently supported.
- When saving a web map from ArcGIS Pro that contains subtype group layers, there is an issue where the size of the saved map can be greater than the maximum allowed web map size for ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 and earlier. If this issue is encountered, there is a work around available. Please contact Esri UK technical support for more information.
