Sweet applications can be shared across an ArcGIS organisation like any other Esri application. They can be shared in a group with specific users, or across the whole organisation. Take a look at the Esri documentation for further information on sharing apps in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.

Please be aware that sharing Sweet apps publicly does not make the app available to anyone that has access to it’s URL. For those specific use cases where public access is needed, contact the Sweet team for further information.

Check with the Sweet team on public sharing logic!

In addition, a prerequisite to sharing a Sweet application is that the end user must have a Builder or Data Editor license to their named user type. Read more on our licensing here.

Share to a group of specific users

  1. Open the ArcGIS Content page, and select the Sweet app, web map and the feature services that encompass the whole application.
  2. Choose to share them to a specific group (group must have editing permissions enabled).

This means that only the users who are members of that group and have also been assigned a Sweet license, will be able to access this application to edit.

Share to the whole organisation

  1. Open the ArcGIS Content page, and select the Sweet app, web map, and the feature services that encompass the whole application.
  2. Choose to share them to the whole organisation.

This means that the whole organisation will see the items listed in content searches across the whole organisation. However, only those users assigned Sweet licenses will be able to open and access the application.
