This release includes a number of new features, as well quality improvements and bug fixes.

Major Enhancements

  • Support for Subtype Group Layers
    The ability to add attribute rules specific to a subtype. The rules can be defined on the parent, and inherited by subtypes. Individual subtypes can override the rules. The ability to add topology, and connectivity rules, specific to a Subtype
  • New field type support
    The new ESRI Field type DateOnly, TimeOnly and DateTimeOffset are now supported.
  • New Arcade Editor
    A smoother scripting experience with support for IntelliSense, a larger script writing area, and support for Arcade 1.26.
  • The Sweet Client application now utilises the Esri Calcite Design System
    This change ensures a more consistent, accessible, and modern user experience. By using the Calcite design system, we enhance usability, performance, and maintainability, providing a more seamless and intuitive interface.
  • Update to the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript
    Updated to the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.30
  • ‘Post edit’ and ‘Reconcile’ buttons to be separate buttons in versioning panel
    The user now has the ability to reconcile edits separately before posting them to the default branch.
  • Extended Language Support
    Sweet for ArcGIS now has full language support for Danish, Dutch, Norwegian and Spanish.

Minor Enhancements

  • ENH-44949: New parameters for reference layers in layer stack position
    In the Sweet Builder, the user now has the ability to insert a reference layer via parameter into Sweet for ArcGIS at the bottom of the layer stack in the Layers Panel instead of the top, so that core layers are easier to access
  • ENH-57228: Improved Messages Panel
    The messages panel has been improved to allow the most recent message to display first on the list and messages are now timestamped.
  • ENH-59537: Sweet for Enterprise Builder presents a license timeout warning
    In the Builder, Sweet for ArcGIS Enterprise users will be prompted by a visual countdown informing them if their license expires within 30 days. Users will be given scheduled on-screen reminder at set periods until the license is renewed.
